Message by Neal Parker

The COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic recession have negatively affected many people’s mental health and created new barriers for people already suffering from mental illness and substance use disorders. We all get lonely from time to time, but God can really use those times in our lives if we let him. When we feel all alone, we can be like Jesus and use that time to grow closer to God. Jesus often went off by himself to be alone with his Father in prayer (Luke 5:16). When we’re alone with God, without the distractions of the world, we can hear his voice much more clearly. Then, we can seek to do his will.
